Bühne is inspired by the romantic cultural movement that emerged in the midst of the industrial revolution. In a world that was becoming increasingly urbanized and more mechanical, the nineteenth-century artists often sought refuge in nature. Two centuries later, I witness a similar drift. Facing a society where technological and digital progress are the flagships, a desire for something that transcends the individual imposes itself. Bühne shows man searching for its origin, nature as an intermezzo in the busy acts of life, her vista a stage. Man as spectator of the spectacle, that should entertain and move him in his urge for what seems to be lost.
